Aunt Gracie

This quilt top was made by Rachel Summy from BOM's she received from Jesse Harvey.  I quilted it and it will be given to Quilts from the Bluffs for delivery to Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.  A real group effort.

Awesome Log Cabin Quilt

Joanne pieced this wonderful log cabin quilt.  You can find the pattern here.

The design I used for the quilting is called Tendril.  I love the look and the movement it creates on the quilt.  Wind, snow...let your imagination go.

Naomi's Jelly Roll Racer

Naomi made this Jelly Roll Racer quilt during an event held at Cut Up and Quilt on Superbowl Sunday.  So glad she is letting me quilt it for her.  I think the Contempo design lends itself to almost any Jelly Roll Racer quilt so that's what we went for.

Kathe's First Grandbaby Quilt

Kathe is very excited to welcome her first grandchild this fall and wasted no time picking out the perfect first quilt.  The fabrics she selected are perfect!

I Spy Quilt from Kathy

I am growing my fascination with I Spy quilts as my grandson approaches two-years old.  And now that I have a second grandchild on the way, I think this quilt will need to be one I do for all grandchildren...current and future.  I am starting to collect fabrics and look for designs that I like.

This week I quilted an I Spy quilt of Kathy's.  It is so bright and fun.  She also shared an idea to make cards of each of the objects in the quilt so the child can search for the picture in the quilt from the card.  You can even spell it out on one side of the card to help with spelling.  LOVE IT!!

Love the backing she picked out!
