About Me

Hi, my name is Jeanine Williams, and I am a quilter.

Quilting is in my blood…handed down for generations.  I admit I don’t quilt like my grandmothers did, but I truly believe that if they had all the cool tools we have available today, they would love to quilt like we do!  I appreciate the traditional but love to try out new techniques.  I have two sisters and we grew up sewing, knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, embroidery, weaving…you name it.  My single-minded passion for quilting really took off during the 1990’s and there is no turning back!  I have two sons, one daughter, and two step sons and am so excited that my only daughter, Christy, has also taken up the love of quilting.  And just for fun, I have to mention that I have two amazing grandchildren, Camden and Leona.

I have an APQS Millennium quilt machine with a 14 foot table so I am able to quilt up to a king size quilt.  My quilt machine is hand-guided…nothing computerized.

I run a quilt ministry, Quilts from the Bluffs, in Council Bluffs, IA.  This group started in October, 2006 and continues to grow year after year.  For more information about this group, view the Quilts from the Bluffs blog or our Facebook page.
